J K Rowling's new book

J.K. Rowling released a new book at the beginning of half term. It is called ‘The Ickabog’.

She would like children to illustrate the book for her. follow the link below to The Ickabog website for more details.

One or two chapters of the book are uploaded daily until July 10th. All the previous chapters are available too - so you can start reading from the beginning.

Blue Peter - Six Badges of Summer

Blue Peter have launched six new badges. Each week there is a different colour badge, linked to a different topic. The first is green week - linked to the environment and outdoors.

The campaign is being run to help keep you busy this summer, and you'll be seeing lots of things about it throughout June and July across CBBC.

As part of the campaign, you'll get the chance to get your hands on your very own Blue Peter Badges- starting with the show's green badge in Green Week, which is all about the environment, nature and looking after the planet.

Follow the link to have a look on the website for tips on how you can take part and maybe help the environment too.

You can download a wall chart  to keep track of your Six Badges of Summer progress or apply for a badge. Don't forget to let us know what you're doing by uploading your pictures and videos of your creations via Seesaw.

Well done to everyone who has logged on to Seesaw and uploaded some of their pieces of work. It has been great to see so many of your home learning tasks. Remember, any form of learning that you have been doing can be shared, it does not just have to be the tasks set on the class page.

If you haven't managed to log on yet, please do so. We MUST see a minimum of two posts each week, please.  If you are having trouble logging in or have lost your log in details (sent via email to parents) please let your class teacher know so we can contact the office and have these resent.
