Literacy - Talking to others

Today we would like you to 'get talking' to somebody. You can choose a member of your household, a friend on the phone, a family member over FaceTime, a teacher - remembering social distancing.

First: We would like you to tell them all the different exciting things about yourself and we would like you to find out as many different things about them.

Here are some examples:

Your favourite song, your favourite food, where you go to school, what you like to do at the weekend, your eyes colour, how tall you are, your favourite TV program, what you are good at when your at school.

Then: Draw a picture of that person and write one of the things you found out about them. Pop your work on Tapestry or if you would prefer you could film yourself talking with your chosen person.

It is so important to listen.

It is important to talk.
