Good morning Year 4
Hopefully you managed to log on to the Joe Wicks PE session yesterday morning, although we are sure lots of people were trying to access it at the same time too. Use the weblink on the page of mindfulness and keeping active websites to access today's live session at 9am or to catch up from yesterday.
Maths
Today we are consolidating our understanding of column addition by applying the skill to solving word problems. It is important to always read the instructions and apply RUCSAC.
Remember, word problems need to be answered in a full sentence and include units.
Make sure to include the short date of 23.03.20 in your work and choose the appropriate challenge level for you. You will be able to self mark these questions as answers can be found at the bottom of the worksheet.
As an extension feel free to try the dicey game challenge. Follow the instructions on the guidance sheet below.
English
Today you are to plan your narrative with a dilemma. This follows on from your drawing and annotating of your setting and character description. Please use the planning frame that is on the second page to the attachment below. Please click on the link for the writing challenge and read Session 2.
As we've discussed in class, your plan does not need to be written in full sentences but bullet points to help you order ideas. Do not forget, if you come up with some exciting word choices make sure to jot them down on your plan.
