Don't forget to log on to Seesaw and share some of your hard work with us. We love seeing what you have been up to. We also love to see pictures of the other things that you are doing while you are at home, like baking, gardening, drawing or riding your bike - so please do upload these too!
Please, please, please continue to read with your child on a daily basis. There are links to suitable reading books on the Year 1 main page, with Oxford Owl and World Book Reader making lots of their resources free for people to access at the moment.
You should all have received your NumBots log in at the start of this half term. We can see that many of you have been on tried this exciting new program, and are practising your maths skills while playing the games. Please keep it up!
Children should aim to play in Story Mode for at least three minutes, four to five times a week, in order to get the best out of NumBots, little and often is key. And if you haven't logged on yet - you're missing out! Please get in touch with us via email if you are having troubles accessing NumBots and we will try our best to help.
We would also be thrilled if the children had daily practice of number bonds to 10, 20 or 100 - so that they know these off by heart and can respond quickly and automatically to questions about them.
This week for an ongoing maths challenge, we'd like you to practise learning all of the doubles of numbers to 10. Here are a few great games that you can play online - please don't use your real name when you use Maths Fishing for the first time, think about how to be safe online and choose a made up name, or use your Seesaw name.
