Personal, Social and Emotional Development

In order to keep safe we are unable to do many things that we often would be doing. Today we would like you to create your own 'Wish Jar'. For this activity you do not need lots of resources.

First: You will simply need an empty jar, box or tub. You can even make your own. On the front of your jar/tub/box can you display the word 'wish'.

Then: We now want you to write or draw a picture of something that you are unable to do at the moment but would like to do in the future. You can design your picture in any way that you wish. You can use paints, chalks, pencils, whatever you have at home.

Here are some examples of things you could draw or write about:

Going swimming, play cricket, see a relative or someone special or go somewhere like the park!

Now: Once you have done your drawing/writing then add it to the jar.

Then whenever you have another idea you can add a new drawing or writing to the jar. Remember this is your idea so whatever you do is special to you.

We look forward to seeing your jar/tub/box on Tapestry. It is your choice whether you show us your pictures.

Good luck.
