Today you are going to learn about the life, actions and achievements of William Shakespeare. Have you heard of him? Shakespeare was a famous writer who is still celebrated in lots of ways today even though he was born over 450 years ago! Did you know that many words and phrases we use today were from his work such as, ‘I haven’t slept a wink’, ‘Melted into thin air’ or ‘In a pickle!’.
