In Science we have been researching habitats and the characteristics of something that is living, dead or never been alive (Mrs Gren). Plants and animals both need food to survive therefore the next step in our learning is to explore food chains in different habitats and compare and contrast them. 

 

Today you will be researching food chains and creating a food chain for a woodland and ocean habitat. 

 

Challenge: Label your food chains with these key words... herbivore, carnivore, omnivore, predator, prey, producer and consumer.
