STAR Award

Today Mr Hills from Essex County Council visited school council to award us with the STARS bronze award. This has been awarded to school for all the hard work they have done in encouraging people to choose a sustainable mode of transport to get to and from school. We were the first school in Essex to achieve the bronze award, we are very proud.

Pot Holes

Last week the school council took a walk up and down Tavistock Road with our clipboards. We were identifying pot holes, cracks in the pavement and loose curbs. We felt that the poor surface on Tavistock Road was one of the reasons some of our community choose not to walk, bike or scoot to school. We have logged all of our findings on the council website and will be tracking the results.

Road Safety

Today Mr Blaydes has been working hard to put our parking safety posters outside the school. They have been attached to the school railings, see if you can spot them!
