Please, please, please continue to read with your child on a daily basis. There are links to suitable reading books on the Year 1 main page, with Oxford Owl and World Book Reader making lots of their resources free for people to access at the moment.
We would also be thrilled if the children had daily practice of number bonds to 10, 20 or 100 - so that they know these off by heart and can respond quickly and automatically to questions about them.
While you are at home, it's a great opportunity to help children to learn to tell the time on an analogue clock. Year 1 need to know the time to o'clock and half past, but if they can already do this, feel free to move on to quarter past and quarter to.
