Today we are going to be looking at developing our Supermoo characters.

Watch the story 'Supermoo' again using the link below.

Now that you have listened to the story, have a discussion about the text.

What settings are in the story?

What is Supermoo’s job?

Who helps her?

What places and equipment does she use?

What super powers does she have that make her different from the other cows?

Children to think of the characters in the book and discuss that a herd of cows all have their own special secrets – they are not just a group of boring old munchers!

What exciting things do they like to do when nobody is watching? Ask children to come up with some ideas  e.g. one makes amazing cakes, one can swing from a tree, one plays in a premiership football team etc.

Create your own herd of cows and give a name for each cow. Come up with a special secret that each of them have! You might like to draw these and write their special secrets in a couple of sentences below!
