The Tyrrells School

Aspire, Care, Learn for Life

Today we are going to revise what we learnt yesterday about the suffix -er. Can you fill in the blanks below?

Today you are continuing to write your 'stuck' story. Before you start writing, read over the work that you have already written to check where you are up to and point to the part of your flowchart to help you pick up your place in the story. This will ensure that you don't repeat anything!

Don't forget your Success Criteria:

- 'Say the sentence, write the sentence'

- Openers

- Time connectives

- Capital letters

- Full stops

- Finger spaces

- Sit letters on the line

- Cursive handwriting

For an extension:

- Join sentences together using 'and', 'but', 'if', 'because' or 'so'.

- Use an exclamation mark
