Who are Friends of Tyrrells?

Friends of Tyrrells (FoT) is a fund-raising charity (Registered charity number 1000969) set up by parents to support the school. The funds we raise throughout the year help to enrich school activities for all year groups. We also aim to provide social opportunities for parents and children.

Find out more about the past year and our plans for 2024-25. If you'd like to get involved with FoT it is a great way to meet other parents and support the school. Coming along doesn't commit you to anything but you can meet the committee, ask questions and share your own ideas. Or if you can't make the AGM contact FoT to find out more.

Goodbye Mr Blaydes! 

At the end of term we said goodbye to Tyrrells caretaker, Mr Blaydes after 26 years at the school. Mr Blaydes has been so supportive of Friends of Tyrrells events we organised a goodbye collection and card from pupils and parents past and present to say thank you.

£16,700 raised for Tyrrells this year

In the 2023/24 school year we have raised an amazing £16,700 for school activities. Thank you to everyone that has supported FoT events. We couldn't have done it without you!
