Aspire, Care, Learn for Life
This week in Maths we will be revisiting the key skills of addition and subtraction!
Today, you will be learning to add two-digit numbers and tens. Just remember to think carefully about what each digit in a number represents – this is called place value. For example, in the number 32 the digit 3 represents 3 tens (so 30 because 3 lots of 10 equals 30) and the digit 2 stands for two ones (2 lots of 1 equals 2).
To start, please click on the link below and work your way through the slideshow at the top of the page. This will reinforce your understanding of place value too. Then choose which activities to complete.
