PE CHALLENGE THIS WEEK

For a change, this week is all about Zumba. Each day there is a different video for you to sing and dance along too. Hope you enjoy something a little bit different.

Please email in or put on SeeSaw if you have any other suggestions for PE activities you have tried and really enjoyed. We could then share them with the rest of the Year group.

PARENTS - FOT have emailed out details to order a copy of the class artwork. If you would like to purchase a copy and have not received any information about this via email, please contact the school office. Many thanks.

J K Rowling's book

J.K. Rowling released a free new book at the beginning of half term. It is called ‘The Ickabog’.

She would like children to illustrate the book for her. follow the link below to The Ickabog website for more details.

One or two chapters of the book are uploaded daily until July 10th. All the previous chapters are available too - so you can start reading from the beginning.

We would very much like to see your illustrations for this new book. Are there some new drawing skills, which you have developed? Why not then pop a picture onto SeeSaw of your illustrations with a little explanation of what you have drawn.

Blue Week - Saying Thank You

Did you complete your Yellow Week badge last week?

This week is Blue Week - linked to saying thank you.

To earn your Blue Badge, you need to think about who you would like to say thank you to. It could be an individual or group of people. Have a think about why you are saying thank you and how you can show your appreciation. You could write a letter or make something.

Follow the link to have a look on the website for tips on how you can take part.

Let us know what you're doing by uploading your pictures and videos of your creations via Seesaw.

Remember to ask an adult at home to help you apply for your badge once you have met the Blue Week Challenge.

Seesaw

Well done to everyone who has logged on to Seesaw and uploaded some of their pieces of work. It has been great to see so many of your home learning tasks. Remember, any form of learning that you have been doing can be shared, it does not just have to be the tasks set on the class page.

If you haven't managed to log on yet, please do so. We MUST see a minimum of two posts each week, please.  If you are having trouble logging in or have lost your log in details (sent via email to parents) please let your class teacher know so we can contact the office and have these resent.
