Maths - Lesson 3 - Money

 

This week in our Maths sessions, we are working with Money. Today we will be exploring different types of money and amounts.

 

First: Watch the 'Money Song', 'The Money Story' and the 'Money video'

 

Next: Watch the videos below with Mr Fenn's shop.

 

Then: Select an item from the task sheet and decide on the coins are needed to purchase the item. You can use a number line and counters/ toys to represent each coin selected and count on until you reach the cost of the item on the number track.

Money Song for Children
