This week you can try another Hour of Code activity - CodeMonkey Jr.

'WRITE CODE. CATCH BANANAS. SAVE THE WORLD.'

CodeMonkey Jr. teaches young children computational thinking skills and the basics of coding through the use of blocks. Children will enter a world filled with captivating creatures and bright colours as they help a monkey on a mission collect bananas and unlock a treasure chest.

How do you program a robot?

Robots are machines. There are lots of types of robots. They move in different ways and do all kinds of jobs.

Because a robot is a machine we have to program it to do things. It only does what we tell it to do

At school we have programmed the floor robot, Beebot.
