Colour Chaos - Lesson 1

Colour is a wonderful thing. Without colour the world would be a very dull place! What's your favourite colour?

Today we are going to look at the work of a famous artist called Piet Mondrian. Mondrian loved to use colour in an abstract way in his artwork. Let's explore this wonderful artists work and use it to inspire a piece of artwork of our own.

Some of the slides on the PowerPoint have lots to read on them. If your adult is busy and you are struggling with the words I have put a voice recording of me reading the text on some of  the pages. Just click on the little recording symbol in the middle of the page to help you smiley

This lesson requires you to make your own piece of artwork inspired by Poet Mondrian. To do this you can use coloured paper or make your own coloured paper using pencils or pens. If you prefer to colour in an abstract picture please use the one below.
