Talk about previous session where you labelled the parts of a tree. Link that to other plants. Do they all have the same parts? Do they use them in a different way to trees?

 

Watch the video below and observe similarities and differences. Look at or collect (if possible!) a range of different plants with varied root, stem and flowering systems. Children to make observational drawings with labels to compare two kinds of plants. (grasses, vegetables, flowers).
