We had the Summer Solstice at the weekend, read through the PowerPoint below to find out more about this.

English

Below are three different levels of reading comprehension linked to the Summer Solstice. Choose the appropriate challenge for you and make sure to read the text carefully before answering the questions. Then use the answers provided to self mark.

Maths

Today we are applying our conversion of units of measurement to look at metres to kilometres.

Remember the following

1km = 1000 m

So 5km = 5000m

2.5km = 2500m

Have a go at the appropriate challenge level for you. Remember to self mark your answers at the end.
