The Oak Academy

The Oak Academy has collaborated with a range of partners to provide a range of free, fun and educational activities. 

Activities on offer include:

• Bite Back 2030 with Jack Deane, head chef at the Jamie Oliver Cookery School.
• 'The Great Indoors' with the Scout Association - showing you how to make slime, tiny twig rafts and polish pennies.
• Jamie’s Farm will show you how to feed animals.
• Art Club for arts and crafts activities.

There's a whole range of activities to try out. Check back during the week - they may be updated with new activities added.

Celebs read Roald Dahl

Academy Award-winning filmmaker Taika Waititi is reading Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach in 10 episodes on YouTube with a line-up of celebrities. Celebs include: Benedict Cumberbatch,  Liam and Chris Hemsworth, Cate Blanchett, Gordon Ramsey, Eddie Redmayne, Ryan Reynolds, Cara Delevigne and Meryl Streep. 

New episodes are released every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6pm on the Roald Dahl YouTube channel. Current and previous episodes can be found by following the link below.
