Year 2 Visits to Local Elderly People
On Friday 16th December, all of the children in Year 2 made a visit to local care homes in Springfield to sing some of the songs from our Christmas show, Superstar.
The children took with them Christmas cards and letters for the residents that they had prepared and written in English lessons, which were very much appreciated.
We received some very kind comments after our performances, which the residents thoroughly enjoyed and the children really loved delivering some Christmas spirit to the elderly people that they met.
Many thanks to the parents who accompanied us on the visit and enabled it to take place.
