Netball Match v St. Michael's School, Galleywood
On Monday 8th May, 14 children from Years 5 and 6 travelled to play in away netball matches at St Michael's School in Galleywood.
Having not had Monday night netball practice for a few weeks due to all the Bank Holidays, we were feeling a little rusty! However both matches were very closely fought and the children continued to play very well as a team.
Despite our very best efforts and some excellent displays of defending, the final score in the League match was 5-4 to St Michael's. The B team also lost, with the final score at 3-1.
A very big thank you to St Michael's for hosting, to Mrs Reeve and Shayna for helping with the umpiring and to all of the parents that were kind enough to transport the children to the matches. Your support was very much appreciated.
