Indoor Athletics Final
On Tuesday 23rd January, a group of Year 5 & 6 pupils took part in the Indoor Athletics Final at Melbourne Sports & Athletics Centre. Tyrrells had previously qualified for this event by coming first in their group stage.
The children behaved and performed brilliantly at the competition, with Joseph O and Chloë HR managing to achieve first place in their events.
Overall, Tyrrells came second out of the eight schools attending, just being pipped to first place by Moulsham Juniors. Well done to all who took part and thank you to Miss Barns for organising the event. Thank you also to the other adults involved, we appreciate you giving up your time to ensure that everything ran smoothly.
