World Book Day
World Book Day
On Thursday 6th March, we celebrated World Book Day. Throughout the day, children were involved in various activities including creating a piece of hexagon book art which will create a collaborative display and children were read to by a different teacher from a different year group.
In the lead up to World Book Day, children were invited to get caught reading. We had over 100 entries for this competition so, in assembly on Friday, we celebrated everyone who had entered. We also drew names to win book prizes. Well done to all of the children who participated and to those who won a book prize: Bobby (RMS), Zac (1H), Henry (2W), Robin (2B), Pratyush (2B), Alex (3G), Ayden (4L), Toby (4L), Lexi (5P), Calum (5P), Jessa (5P).
