Danbury Park
Year 3 had a great time at Danbury Park. In the morning we spent time making dens which had to fit our group inside and survive a rain shower (Mr Woolard and Mrs Chapman with water guns!). We found spears and hunted animals to gain an animal skin (tarpulin) to cover our den and make it extra water proof!
In the afternoon we had a chance to paint using natural marterials and we lit fires using a flint striker which was not as easy as it seemed!
Walk like an Egyptian day
In Year 3 we became Ancient Egyptians for the day as part of our Ancient Egypt topic. Everyone dressed up (and looked amazing) and then had a fun day making papyrus to write on, cracking codes using hieroglyphics and making Ancient Egyptian biscuits.
