Thank you for visiting our Year 2 page. We will be sharing some of the activities, visits and events that we have been doing on these pages. We hope you enjoy sharing our learning with us.

Miss Bradbrook and Miss Wells

PE Days

Our Outdoor PE session is on a Monday afternoon. Please ensure that your child comes into school in their outdoor PE kit, including a blue or black tracksuit if cold. Your child can also bring gloves and a hat if the weather is cold.

Our Indoor PE session is on a Thursday morning. Please ensure that your child comes into school in their indoor PE kit, including a blue or black tracksuit if cold to keep them warm during play and lunchtimes outside.

Homework and Spellings

Spelling tests will be carried out in school on a Tuesday morning. New spellings will be sent home on a Wednesday.

The CGP homework books will also be sent home on a Wednesday. The books will alternate each week between Maths and English. A homework sheet will be sent home each week with details about which pages to complete, as well as details of the weekly spellings.

Login details for Numbots and Times Table Rockstars (TTRS) are stuck in the children's reading record books. Children are asked (from the start of January in Year 2) to spend 15 minutes a week on the 'Garage' section of TTRS.
