PE and Sport Premium

As a Healthy School, we aim to provide a wide range of activities for children to engage in high quality PE and sports provision.

All children have two PE/Games lessons per week in curriculum time as well as an additional swimming lesson in the summer term. We run a range of extra-curricular sporting activities at different times of the year (see the School Clubs page) Children in all year groups take part in competitive sports within the local area and the county and our Year 5 and 6 children act as young leaders in PE activities for younger children.

The PE and Sport Grant is funding provided to schools to improve standards in PE and improve children’s participation in sporting activities.  Please see the documents below to find out more about how our funding is allocated.
