Thank you for visiting our Year 3 page. This is where you will find information and examples about our exciting learning.
Homework
Homework is set every Friday in the small red books and is due in the following Thursday. The homework is as follows:
- Spellings - These are tested every Thursday
- Maths or English - This alternates weekly and will be a short task linked to the children's learning in class. They should be able to complete these tasks independently.
- Timestable Rockstars - Children are expected to complete the Garage session for 20 minutes a week as part of their homework but are also encouraged to complete jamming session too.
- Daily reading - Children should be reading regularly to an adult at home. Please ensure children's reading diaries are signed when they have read.
PE days
Our PE days in Year 3 are:
Monday and Tuesday
Please ensure that children come to school in their PE kits with any earrings removed and long hair tied back.
