Uniform

Below you will find a full uniform list and pictures of some of the items available from Friends of Tyrrells, who kindly organise the ordering and sale of many items of uniform for The Tyrrells School. Our uniform supplier for September 2015 is One Stop Schoolgear, an order form can be found below.

We've included pictures of the T-shirts and summers dresses to help you match the colours.

The school is required to comply with Essex County Council Health and Safety policy for PE. In this policy it clearly states that ALL jewellery must be removed for PE, including pierced earrings. Please note that for Health and Safety reasons, earrings or other jewellery (unless on religious grounds) should not be worn during school hours. Watches are allowed. Earring sleeper studs, if worn, must be removed before the children can take part in PE/Games sessions. It is helpful if children remove them before coming to school on PE days. Essex Policy states that children can no longer cover the studs with Micropore tape for PE. Newly pierced earrings must now be covered before coming to school with fabric plasters by Parents or Carers on PE days. These must then be left on the earrings all day.
