You should continue with your daily reading (20 minutes per day) and record details in your reading record. Remember to note down any new or exciting vocabulary.

Spend some time on Times Table Rockstars - there will be some battles coming up!

You will find spelling lists in the English section under the heading 'useful websites' of the Year 5 page.  Challenge yourself to learn 10 per week. Can you use the words in context?

Monet Impressionism Pictures

We have received some fantastic pictures using Monet's impressionism technique. Please keep emailing them to us to display on the website.

Rainbow

Following on from our rainbow trail, one of our Year 5 pupils has created a rainbow of hope and sent it to the patients and staff at NHS Nightingale. This certainly deserves a shout out as a RAK (Random Act of Kindness).  Well done to you for your thoughtfulness and consideration of others.

Filtering dirty water.

Wow! Thank you for all your photographs and video clips to show your water filtering.  Well done to all of you who found other materials to add into your filters to make cleaner water - some great ideas.  We will continue to add photos to this section so make sure you pop back and have a look.  If you would like your photo included, please email them across to us.
