Today we will be looking at unit and non-unit fractions!

Follow the link below named 'BBC Bitesize Daily Lesson' and read all the information on the webpage carefully. Remember to check with an adult if there is something that doesn't make sense!

Once you have read all of the information, have a go at Activities 1 to 3. All three activities can be found on the BBC Bitesize webpage and will test your knowledge so far.

When you feel confident, have a go at the Activity 4 worksheet attached below. Don't forget that you can check your own answers with the answer sheet provided!

For those of you who would like an extra challenge, have a go at the extension sheet provided!

Have a fun lesson!

Good morning Year 3! We are heading back to Oak National Academy for our English lesson. In this lesson, we are going to explore the features of a character description. Mr Mac is your teacher today and the focus on Superheroes continues!

Top Tip: Record all the 'Words of The Day' on a Magpie page in your exercise book so that you can use them in your own writing later!

Getting to know a character!

Today your reading task is to write 3 interview questions for a character in your book. You will need to write 3 questions and what you think the character would respond.

Here are some suggested questions starters:

  • "What did you think about... ?"
  • "How did you feel when... ?"
  • "Why did you decide to... ?"

We look forward to reading some of these on Seesaw!
