Today we will be looking at equivalent fractions and simplifying fractions.
First of all, follow the link named ‘BBC Bitesize Daily Lesson’ and read the text on the webpage carefully. After you have done this, watch the video provided. Be sure to check anything you do not understand with an adult.
When you think you understand, have a go at Activity 1 (which can be found on the BBC Bitesize page or by clicking on the link named ‘Activity 1 – interactive activity’ below).
Once you have done this, have a go at activities 2 and 3. Remember to check your answers with the answer sheets provided.
There is an extension sheet for those of you who want to push themselves a little bit further!
Spelling
This week the focus is on words with a /chuh/ sound spelt 'ture'.
Today you can flip a coin to see which activity you will do to learn your spellings.
