Today we will be applying our knowledge of adding and subtracting fractions in order to solve problems.
Follow the link named ‘BBC Bitesize Daily Lesson’ and watch the video on the webpage. Remember to make sure you discuss anything you do not understand with an adult.
Once you feel confident, have a go at activity 1 and use the answer sheet to check your progress.
After this, have a look at activity 2 which is an interactive activity. You can find the link either at the bottom of the bitesize page or as a link below which will take you to the activity directly.
If you haven’t already done so, take some time to look back over the extensions for this week as they are all linked into problem solving and reasoning.
Times Tables
For the rest of this week, we would like you to practise your 3, 4 and 8 times tables. We have found some great songs today for you to sing along to and the links can be found below. Be sure to upload your karaoke videos to Seesaw! (Remember to get your parent/carer's permission to use You Tube)
If you have been practising your times tables on TT Rockstars and feel you are now ready for the next one, please get your parent/carer to email us and we will happily allocate you a new one to learn!

Today you will need to work through the teaching PowerPoint which is about prepositions. There is voice-over teaching so remember to turn on the volume. You will be reading a non-fiction text about different dyes and then you be identifying prepositions which give information about time, place and cause.
