Foundation - Art @10am

It's time to draw-a-long with Rob! The draw-a-long is live at 10am, however the video will be added to the website if you would prefer to draw at a different time.

Pop a photo of your completed picture on Seesaw so we can see your great drawings!  Remember that once you have the outline of your drawing, you can adapt it to develop your own personal style.

English

Our English lesson today is based on identifying features of an instructional text. 

Follow the instructions from the video- remembering to pause and complete the activities when asked to. Use the 'next activity' or green dots at the bottom of the page to navigate through.

Remember to add to your magpie page as you watch the video.

Spellings

Using your 10 spellings (8 from our lesson and two you have chosen from the list) try the following activity.

Maths

Today's Maths is on MyMaths. You may wish to complete the lesson before the homework.

1. The first few questions are based on naming the type of angle. Try to complete this without the Powerpoint from yesterday.

2. Then, estimate how big you think the angles are and use the correct comparison symbols. 

Foundation: PSHE

Today you will be thinking about what makes a healthy meal and how we can put different foods into different food types.

1. Read through the Powerpoint to find out about the different food groups. 

2. Complete the food pyramid. Using pages 2 and 3, either cut out the objects to put them in the correct place of the pyramid or draw them on yourself.
