Monday

Two days ago, on Saturday, it was the Queen's birthday. So today all the activities are going to be based on her.

Firstly, read the Queen Elizabeth II Powerpoint. This will give you an insight into the Queen's life, such as her path to the throne, her various responsibilities and the homes she stays in.

Using the reading comprehension, you will have chance to find out more about The Queen and why she has two birthdays a year. Please choose the appropriate challenge level for you. Read the text carefully several times before committing your answers to paper. You can self mark using the answer sheet at the end of each challenge level. Remember to edit your answers where necessary.
