PGL WINDMILL HILL 2016 DAY 4
We have had another fantastic day today and the continuous rain has not managed to dampen spirits or ruin the camp fire as it thankfully stopped in time. After another fun packed day of activities the children's thoughts are turning to home and they are very much looking forward to seeing you all and sleeping in their own beds!
The packing this evening has been an adventure in itself; I apologise in advance if you do not become reunited with the correct washing pile. They have tried their best! The raft building clothes really do smell so please be prepared.
I cannot believe that it is already Thursday, the week has gone very quickly. Your children have been amazing and really made the most of the experience. I may be tempting fate to mention this tonight but we haven't had a single disturbance at night yet - fingers crossed that we end the week without any tonight.
The food pictures are from breakfast today; we thought that it would be good to show you just how much they have been eating and to hint at the fact that they would like a cooked breakfast each day at home from now on!
All that is left to say is that you need to prepare yourselves to give lots of cuddles and be ready to listen to some amazing stories about their inspiring achievements.
Love from Mrs Daines & Year 6
