We had a much more settled night last night, with all the dorms asleep before 10.30pm and we had no-one out of bed in the night; in fact, most were so sound asleep that many needed a wake-up call for breakfast! Most chose the cooked option of sausage, tomatoes and hash browns.
We have enjoyed some sunshine today and the children have taken part in lots of team and individual challenges. Highlights include The Giant Swing where our Tyrrells children were seen demonstrating great empathy by checking their partners were OK with the level of height and Orienteering where many pairs worked so well together we were complimented by the PGL staff.
At dinner time, we sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to our birthday girl Aastha who was woken up this morning by her excited dorm group who had decorated the room while she slept!
The children later enjoyed a variety of team games including a relay race involving blowing paper fish along the hall floor with drinking straws and trying to build the tallest tower of shoes! Their final challenge was to build a protective casing for a water balloon which they will test tomorrow before breakfast.
We look forward to updating you on our day tomorrow!
