PGL WINDMILL HILL 2018 DAY 2
As last night was our first night here, we had some over-excited dorms who took some time to go to sleep. This morning we also had some eager children who woke before 6am and were starving by the time we went for breakfast at 7.30am! They all enjoyed the bacon, mushrooms, toast and cereals on offer.
Throughout the day, the children have wrapped up warm, braved the cold and enjoyed many outdoor activities such as the Tunnel Trail and Canoeing. They have all set and shown a determination to achieve their individual goals with the support and encouragement of their group. We only post a sample of the photos on this page but they will all be available to the children when we return to school.
Everyone is eating really well; the food is as plentiful as ever and the children really work up an appetite with the many physical activities. Dinner tonight was a choice of chicken nuggets and chips or lasagne with lemon drizzle cake for dessert.
Earlier today they all enjoyed a trip to the gift shop (which, of course, has to be the highlight of any good school trip!) and are currently enjoying the confectionery aspects of their purchases around the Campfire!
Though the children are thoroughly enjoying themselves, they are missing everyone from home too.
